Gifts of Stock

Giving a gift of stock to PBS Western Reserve can help support the organization while benefiting from potential tax savings. Long-term appreciated stock owned for more than one year and increased in value can help support the mission of PBS Western Reserve. Your donation will be equal to what the stock is worth on the date of the gift as opposed to its purchase price. 

To make a gift of securities: 

• Contact your broker with your intent to make a gift of securities to PBS Western Reserve
• Advise your broker to include your name and address on the transaction
• Share the stock name and number of shares with your broker
• Complete the Stock Donation Form
• Provide your broker with the following information regarding PBS Western Reserve’s brokerage house and account
