Educational events to be held at Stow-Munroe Falls Public Library
Thursday, March 27
3512 Darrow Road, Stow
Community Helpers
From 10-10:45 AM, children ages 3–5 are invited to discover community helpers and learn about the important jobs they do! They’ll explore how they, too, are valuable members of their community — building teamwork, pride and big-hearted skills like respect, responsibility and empathy.

Seismic Shake-up
From 11 AM to 12:30 PM, students ages 9–11 are invited to explore the science of earthquakes by designing their own structure with simple materials and then test it on a shake table that simulates real earthquake vibrations. This hands-on STEM activity encourages children to use creativity, problem-solving and teamwork to strengthen their models and survive the challenge!
Stow-Munroe Falls Public Library is located at 3512 Darrow Road, Stow. Seating is limited for both events. To register, call 330-688-3295, ext. 5, or visit events.smfpl.org.
