PBS Western Reserve (WNEO 45.1 / WEAO 49.1):

This one-hour documentary is a sad — yet funny — look at the pervasive, deep-rooted culture of political corruption in Illinois, also known as “The Land of Lincoln.” Why focus on Illinois? Because it is consistently one of the most corrupt states in America and home to Chicago, whicj regularly tops the charts as the most corrupt city in America.

LINCOLN IS CRYING is a cautionary tale for all other states, and given what is happening in national politics, it couldn’t be timelier. The story behind Illinois’ corruption is told by a group of journalists from the internet, television, print and radio. In addition, authors, entertainers, prosecutors, defense attorneys, politicians and even the barber of convicted ex-Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich made contributions.
