LGBTQ+ Pride Month

LGBTQ+ Pride Month Programming on PBS Western Reserve

LGBTQ+ Pride month is observed each June to honor the 1969 Stonewall Uprising in Manhattan. Today, celebrations include parades, picnics, parties, workshops, symposia and concerts, and Pride events attract millions of participants worldwide. Pride month commemorates the ongoing pursuit of equal justice for the LGBTQ+ community and recognizes the impact that members of the LGBTQ+ community have had on history locally, nationally and internationally.

This June, we proudly celebrate LGBTQ+ Pride month with special programming that will air on our PBS Western Reserve (WNEO 45.1 / WEAO 49.1) and Fusion (WNEO 45.2 / WEAO 49.2) channels.
