This concert serves as a musical biography of Taylor’s life and career. Hear the story behind “Sweet Baby James,” written in honor of Taylor’s nephew. Learn how “Carolina in My Mind” came to be while on a recording trip to England. And, discover how bandmate and friend Carole King gave Taylor her song “You’ve Got a Friend” to record. After listening to the complete performance, viewers will leave with a better understanding of Taylor’s love for music, North Carolina, his family, and friends.
